The Icing on the Cake

Today's installment of vintage makeup how-tos is on our favorite topic--lipstick! Check it out here, and let me know what you think!

  1. Another great article - But what did we expect? ;)

I will definitely play with those lining techniques. I'm not usually one for lining, as my upper lip is larger than my lower lip and has a quite exaggerated bow. I usually apply lipstick without much thought.

    Make-up is so much fun!

  2. really thorough and informative (I especially liked the points about application based on face shape). Thanks!

  3. Thanks for reading, ladies! I'd love to hear if you try out applying your lipstick according to your face shape, and if you think it makes a difference.

I will say that years ago, when my face was rounder, a makeup artist "squared" my lower lip when applying the lipstick--I'm not sure if she did so with face shape in mind, but it did subtly balance my face.
