Regardless, I'm still thinking about my spring wardrobe, having been inspired by a recent fabric purchase, a brightly-colored Japanese design. The shades of jadeite and bright pink give the print a very fresh feel, don't you think? I plan on turning it into a blouse, something crisp and eye-catching.
A few pattern ideas:
I love the keyhole and peplum details on this blouse:
I love this dress pattern too--perhaps I could pair the fabric with a coordinating solid:
I can't wait for spring too! Love the keyhole blouse!!
ReplyDeleteI'm dying for spring too--although I live in FL (near the Gulf Coast), so it is weird that I'm craving warmer weather since we have it nearly year round. rofl. I really adore that fabric you've got picked out; I vote for either the keyhole blouse (I just made one similar to it, so I'm prejudiced ;) or the dress. Either would be lovely!

ReplyDeleteI'm leaning towards the keyhole blouse too; I'll have to check out the one you just made, Casey :-)
I think I just enjoy changing out my wardrobe; after a few weeks of cold weather I’m ready for a change. I’ll be wishing for winter again by June!
Oh, I love that fabric! The keyhole blouse gets my vote too, although all the patterns are lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric!!! I vote for either the keyhole blouse or as the skirt fabric with a red blouse?
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous fabric, and I definitely think it would look great with the peplum pattern. Looking forward to seeing a future post with the finished product :-)
ReplyDeleteI really like the key hole blouse and the dress really cute =)

Yes, the keyhole blouse will be great! :) Oh, and just have to say I totally fell in love with the Hollywood 1584 pattern; it's just gorgeous, so simple yet super stylish! I think I will have to put it on top of my wishlist and hope to find it on eBay or so! :)
ReplyDeleteThere is so, so much loveliness in this wonderful post. I'm pining for spring so very much, too (we had almost no [warm] autumn to speak of, so it feels like ages since there wasn't hit of chill to the air) - and all the wonderful, lighter weight fashions allows one indulge in.
ReplyDeleteBlissful Sunday wishes, honey!
