For this week's installment of Makeup Mondays, I thought it would be fun to do a vintage beauty how-to based on a color photo of the amazing Rita Hayworth. She has been a favorite of mine for a long time, and I know many of you are fans of hers as well!

ReplyDeleteI love Rita Hayworth too. She had a great face for make-up and transformation. Because she had so many different hairstyles and colors, naturally, she had to change her make-up as well. My favorite periods of hers are the technicolor of MY GAL SAL (1942) and the black and white of GILDA (1946). Essentially pin-up girl and femme fatale.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing - Rita was the first biography I ever read of an old movie star. She was so beautiful and tragic. I've always wanted to look like her. I'm going to follow this breakdown for work tomorrow!
