  1. They're all such great outfits! I really love the colour combination in the second one, though. =D

  3. Thank you, ladies!

I was really pleased with that color combination too, Andi! I also picked up a navy blue knit top with white top-stitching that I plan to pair with the skirt once the weather cools off (months from now lol)

A souvenir from Paris sounds so delightful, MissMatilda :-)

  4. Hi Amanda!

Love these photos! I especially like the last dress with the shoes!

How do you stay so white in Arizona of all places? :)
I live in California, 50 miles South of San Francisco and never go outside without a sun blocking umbrella!

  5. Thank you Maria!

Well, my skin simply doesn't tan! I've lived here for over 20 years and have never tanned; I do wear sunscreen religiously, but even if I didn’t my skin would simply burn and then turn white again lol

  6. Wow! I find it to be so lucky - not being able to tan. I do tan a little, just enough to make me look not so good, so to speak LOL! Do you have a sunscreen that you particularly like for face and/or body? I am always searching for the perfect one!

  7. I also wanted to add that you do look like you stepped out of the 1940s...so lovely. Even your facial structure is very much so classic!

  8. Oh, I wouldn't mind if I was just a *touch* darker (say, a half shade)--it's quite difficult to find makeup that matches, sigh.

I am currently searching for a sunscreen favorite; my skin is quite sensitive (this seems to go hand in hand with being pale) and I haven't found one yet that agrees with my skin and that also isn't shiny and works well under makeup. I will keep you posted :-)

  9. Why thank you, Maria--you are such a doll!

  10. I know what you mean about skin sensitivity - I have this problem too. Chemical sunblocks irritate my face....:( hence I use a foundation with SPF(non-chemical) and an umbrella (can't live without it! LOL) instead. For the body I just use Coppertone Water Babies SPF 50 and it seems to be alright.

  12. Thank you Little Rascal!

Maria--I am waiting for a Japanese sunscreen in the mail right now. I've heard good things about Japanese and European sunscreens (they're supposed to have higher sun protection with a more elegant finish). I'm crossing my fingers that this one works for me!

Laura--"Non-shade" is great way to describe our fair skin! What makeup do you wear?
