A few photos from the
Tokyo Girls show at the Matsuri festival, which took place February 27-28. For this show, I wore a white cotton faille dress dating to the early 1940s, with multicolored 40s platforms and telephone cord purse, and red Bakelite jewelry. Our next Tokyo Girls show will be at the Phoenix Comicon at the end of May; I've never been to Comicon before--it should be quite fun!

Amanda

You look beautiful as usual, lurve those platforms!
ReplyDeleteI just have to say thank you for your tips on how to do that hairstyle, i actually managed to do it the other week and it stayed on top of my head! I did it the non-vintage way :)
xx
Thank you, ladies!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear my tips worked for you, Stefanie--I'd love to see pics! The Betty updo can be a quick ande easy vintage style and it's definitely a good one for warm weather :-)
Little splashes of color in all the right places...adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove the whole outfit ! We are coming down for Comicon so I look forward to seeing the show. Just trying to find a cute vintage motel !

Thank you, ladies :-)
ReplyDeleteJaede, have you ever stayed at the San Carlos Hotel?
Amanda we looked at that but it was so expensive as well as beautiful. We are looking for some in a motel so I have more money to spend on fun stuff !...........hehe...................
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew of another motel nearby, but the San Carlos is the only one I've stayed at. I'm sure you'll find a fun retro place to stay :-)
ReplyDeleteI think we have found somewhere in Scottdale.
