Danger Girl

Over the holiday weekend I had a couple of fantastic shoots with two of my favorite photographers, Matt Carson and Doug Monce. One of the outfits Doug photographed me in is this fantastic 1960s crocheted romper, provided by Matilda’s Vintage Closet. Doesn’t it remind you of something a Bond Girl would wear? It’s certainly a different look for me, but it was just too fun to pass up!

  3. Amanda, that is a fabulous romper ! Even though it's 60s to me it still has a 40's appeal as well. Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

  12. I always love taking pictures of you, and when I can't do that, looking at pictures of you taken by others is the next best thing. But the one at the top in this post is among those I most wish I could have taken myself.

  15. Indeed we do! We keep discussing it from time to time, and now we just have to get around to actually doing it. But I think I might want to wait until around October, for a couple of reasons. First, it will be cooler then; second, I hope to upgrade my camera soon, which, if I am able to do it, means I will have better equipment. And what better way to check out said equipment than in a photoshoot with my favorite model!

Also, I thought the latest pool shots of you on FB were absolutely beautiful, and I loved them. Apart from the occasional pictures I have taken of you myself, and which were vetoed when you reviewed them on my camera's LCD screen, has anyone ever taken a bad picture of you? :-)

  16. And actually, come to think of it, I'm not sure if I prefer the top image in this post or the one at the bottom, since they both involve similar poses and are nicely done. I think I might do some pleasant agonizing over this question, then get back to you with my final verdict. :-)
